Celebrating The Coast Through Art

Karen Townsend – Ceramic Artist

The Sea is The Source

The majority of my ceramic work reflects my joy of diving and the deep blue, they capture the mysteries of the sea. I want my art to invite you to touch and explore the forms, through pottery and pyrography (wood-burned) art.

I often use recycled glass from discarded bottles to decorate my work, it adds a glistening, watery shimmer as well as being super-friendly to our environment.

I offer workshops from the comfort of my bright home studio as well as collaborating with other studio spaces to deliver to large groups. I can also bring a creative workshop to your own workplace, delivering art for wellbeing, fantastic for team building.
