On the day I will supply:
Stoneware Air Dry Clay – The clay I use behaves in almost the same way as the stoneware clay, it’s not the awful white stuff we used to have at school which crumbles and cracks. I like working with this clay.
- It can be dried at home and decorated, or
- The artwork can be bisque-fired (first firing) then I can return to run a shorter session for participants to glaze their pieces. The work will then be glaze-fired as per normal stoneware.
The additional cost for glazing & double-kiln firing is £30 per piece.
- Cotton mats which are suitable as workstations, approx. 30 x 40cm
- All tools, including sculpting tools, pottery knives, textures, any moulds and cutters, etc
- Buckets and sponges for clean-up
