From the Greek meaning “Writing with Fire”, wood burned art designs. This is an un-rushed workshop in a relaxed studio environment.

For thousands of years pyrography has been an artform used to make ordinary, everyday objects beautiful. My aim is to ensure that you enjoy everything this fascinating, relaxing artform has to offer using wood-burning tools.

Start by learning the basics of pyrography, sharing ideas, and exploring your design. I’ll guide you if you’re unsure.

Learn how to use the wood-burning tool, control temperature for different effects, and transfer designs.

Practice holding the pen, applying the right strokes and pressure, and test techniques on demo pieces before starting your project.

Suitable for complete beginners – no art skills required! Tracing & graphite paper are available if you’re not comfortable drawing free-hand.

Leave with a unique handmade keepsake — and a new skill!
