This seafood platter was sculpted especially for the exhibition at the Oxmarket Galley in Chichester. I loved recreating the crustaceans and sea creatures, capturing the wonderful shapes, textures and character of the creatures beneath the waves. I have always loved the sea, but I’m equally fascinated by its incredible bounty. This piece brings those two passions together: the beauty of the ocean and the food it provides. It’s one of my favourite pieces of work; for me, it depicts the colours, textures and abundance of the ocean. Approx dimensions 30cm dia -
This amazing piece was inspired by the beautiful rockpools at Watergate Bay in Cornwall. The three wells are great for keeping small items but the piece wrks just as well standing alone. Handbuilt from stoneware with dreamy turquoise glaze, the pools have seaweed and barnacles living on the rocks Approx 20H cm This piece is foodsafe
