    The inspiration came from the breakwater groynes preventing erosion of our beautiful beach. I imagine her as the Protector of the Shore. The groyne was slab build and she was sculpted onto the body of the post. The crystalised glass in the shell creates a sparkling focal point Height 35cm This is quite a heavy piece, substantially built from stoneware with glossy glazes
