    This amazing piece was inspired by the beautiful rockpools at Watergate Bay in Cornwall. The three wells are great for keeping small items but the piece wrks just as well standing alone.     The inspiration came from the breakwater groynes preventing erosion of our beautiful beach. I imagine her as the Protector of the Shore. The groyne was slab build and she was sculpted onto the body of the post. The crystalised glass in the shell creates a sparkling focal point Height 35cm This is quite a heavy piece, substantially built from stoneware with glossy glazes
